Chris Broussard, grosse trompette.
Sinon, une bonne nouvelle > Terrence Williams has received his release from China and will be available to play tonight vs Lakers !

Latest deadline rumble: Boston exploring its Josh Smith options. The prob: Can't do it w/out Pierce. Just can't see Ainge sending PP to ATL
2:04 AM - 19 Feb 13
KG ain't waiving no-trade clause to go to ATL. So Celts would have to part with iconic PP to get J-Smoove. So can't happen w/out more teams

Hawks have convinced numerous teams that Josh Smith will be moved between now and Thursday 3 PM deadline. Question remains where exactly

He really endeared himself to our fans during his time in Sac and many were hoping to see him signed longer term. The reason he wasn’t was behind-the-scenes differences, further emphasizing the “head case” issues. But those issues were never apparent on the court. The scouting report is pretty spot on- great slasher and handler, surprisingly fantastic court vision, solid defender, poor shooter. He’s got a great motor when motivated, which I imagine he will be for the Celts. I think he’ll be a great pickup for you guys.
Celtics sign Terrence Williams to 10 day contract (updated) By wjsy on Feb 18, 9:08a
In a search to replace Rajon Rondo, Jared Sullinger, and Leandro Barbosa, the Celtics have turned to China as the CBA's season winds down. Terrence Williams has emerged as a likely candidate for a 10-day contract.
gary washburn @GwashNBAGlobe Williams has played with three NBA teams and most recently China, considered a head case in past but has talent #celtics

In the past, I've been pretty confident with the Celtics taking on players with character issues, especially on a short term basis. Guys like Stephon Marbury, Von Wafer, and Nate Robinson come to mind. They all found differing levels of success with the team, but more importantly, never were a distraction.
Williams had been playing very well for Guangdong Southern before leaving the team due to a death in his family. He was averaging almost 18-3-4 for the first place Tigers before leaving. TWill has good size at 6'6 with great athleticism and should be able to play as a big guard and a small forward. With the Celtics no longer looking to fill a specific position, he's the kind of all-around player that Doc should be able to plug in right away. He's got a handle and the tools to play Celtic defense.

The Celtics are reportedly on the verge of signing a guard to a 10-day contract — a hedge in case a more desirable player is available in another two weeks — though management was still sifting through possibilities. Shelvin Mack, the Maine Red Claws point guard, remained with his team on its road trip. Jannero Pargo, the 32-year-old whose second 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks expired last week, also hadn’t been contacted.

KG not waiving no-trade clause Updated: February 18, 2013, 9:05 AM ET
By Chris Forsberg | ESPBoston.com
Informed that power is fully in his court given the fact that he secured one of only four no-trade clauses in the league when he inked a three-year, $36 million extension this offseason, Garnett playfully asked reporters why the conversation was still on the subject then.
Garnett also noted that he has not been approached by Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge about any potential deals that would require his approval.
